Susan A. Darnell is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Nursing and has 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her clinical background includes post-partum/GYN, home healthcare, and surgical and cardio/pulmonary intensive care. She has additional experience as a claims analyst in long-term care and other healthcare facilities, as well as serving as the Director of Utilization Management for a national property claims company. Ms. Darnell received risk management education through the Florida Risk Management Institute and was the Director of Risk Management for Tanner Medical Center for four years. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. Ms. Darnell has been a Legal Nurse Consultant with our firm since 1999.
