Kevin O'Mahony joined the firm in 2004 after being a partner in the Atlanta law firm of O'Mahony & Vancil, LLP, where he represented The Emory Clinic physicians, Emory University hospitals, other healthcare providers, and their insureds. Previously, he was counsel at the large Atlanta firms of Troutman Sanders and Drew Eckl & Farnham. Mr. O'Mahony obtained his law degree with honors from William & Mary in 1982. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, is an arbitrator and mediator for the National Arbitration Forum, and has been a litigation and arbitration instructor for the American Institute of Paralegal Studies. He has earned an AV Martindale Hubbell rating, is a recipient of the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Advocacy, and is a frequent seminar speaker and author of numerous articles on healthcare law, litigation and dispute resolution topics.
