Michael T. Sumner is an associate practicing in general civil litigation, focusing primarily on medical malpractice defense and health care law. Originally from Atlanta, Mr. Sumner received his B.A., magna cum laude, in History from Wake Forest University in 1999, and received his J.D. and Master in Public Health degrees from Emory University in 2005. While at Wake Forest, Mr. Sumner completed a pre-medical science curriculum and took part in a "Comparative Health Policy and Law" Study Abroad program through Syracuse University's School of Law, where he studied at the World Health Organization, among other places.
